FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: device for change of working depth of breaking roller grooves consists of cams interacting with case of bearings of upper and lower roller. The cams are made flat with generatrix in form of triangle. The cams are arranged on common control rods at step equal to distance between axles of neighbour breaking pairs; they are perpendicular to axles of rollers on both sides of a breaking machine. The cams interact with slots made in cases of the bearings of the upper and lower roller. The control rods are forced to lengthwise transfer by means of a double-arm lever, one arm of which is hinged to rods, while another is coupled with a rod of the hydro-cylinder. ^ EFFECT: raised efficiency of stem layer kneading and increased output of long fibre. ^ 4 dwg
