<p>Systems, processes, devices, and articles of manufacture for mechanical power generation may be implemented by various techniques. In certain implementations, a mechanical power generator (100) may include a number of cylinders (110) that each have at least two combustion chambers (112) with interconnected pistons (114). The power generator may also include a fuel controller (144) and an exhaust controller (154) for each combustion chamber. A number of force conversion members (118) may each be associated with respective ones of the cylinders by being coupled to a piston in the associated cylinder at one end.
