PURPOSE: A sheet conveying device, paper feeding unit, and image forming device are provided to maintain sufficient conveying force by a pair of conveying roller. CONSTITUTION: A bias member is attached inside the opening and closing cover(5). By the bias member, a vertical roller axis(952) is supported. In the state of opening and closing cover, the vertical roller axis is biased to the driving roller axis(951). If the opening and closing cover is bent to the external side, the vertical roller axis is prevented from being dropped from the driving roller axis. And, a nip force of the driving roller(6) and a driving roller(7) are maintained.
