Monoclonal antibody 247-B9 specific to undifferentiated human embryonic stem cell

PURPOSE: A monoclonal antibody which specifically binds to undifferentiated human stem cells is provided to research difference of initial embryo development between rat and human. CONSTITUTION: An undifferentiated human embryonic stem cell-specific monoclonal antibody 247-B9 contains variable region of heavy chain having an amino acid of the sequence number 6 and variable region of light chain having an amino acid of the sequence number 8. The monoclonal antibody 247-B9 recognizes about 37kDa protein of undifferentiated human embryonic stem cell and hnRNP A2/B1 analog protein. A composition for removing the undifferentiated human embryonic stem cell contains the monoclonal antibody 247-B9.
