PURPOSE: A disk brake is provided to reduce the loss of fuel ratio by minimizing the unnecessary friction between disk and pad by rapidly separating friction pad from a disk after braking. CONSTITUTION: A disk brake comprises first and second friction pads, a caliper housing(20), a piston, a carrier(40), a pad spring(50). The first and second friction pads are respectively arranged in both sides of the disk. The first and second friction pads comprise a friction member and a support plate. The friction member is contacted with each disk. The support plate supports the rear side of the friction member and comprises rollers(77a, 77b). The roller is installed in order to roll between the pad spring and support plate. The caliper housing and piston press the first and second friction pads towards the disk. The carrier supports the first and second friction pads and caliper housing. The pad spring is allowed in between the first and second friction pads and carrier.
