摘要 PURPOSE: A steel box composite girder using precast concrete used for a continuous bridge and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the weight of the composite girder by using structurally-efficient high-strength concrete instead on low-strength concrete. CONSTITUTION: A steel box composite girder using precast concrete used for a continuous bridge comprises a steel box girder, precast lower concrete(15), and a spacer or level adjusting device(23). Shear connectors(4) are fixed to the top of a lower flange(5) of the steel box girder at uniform intervals. The precast lower concrete has through holes(16) in which the shear connectors are inserted. The spacer or level adjusting device is installed between the bottom surface of the precast lower concrete and the top surface of the lower flange. The lower flange of the steel box girder is integrated with the precast lower concrete by injecting shrinkage compensating cement(22) into the through holes.
