The probe has vaccinium macrocarpon extract containing anthocyanin precursors applied by adsorption, absorption, coating or physicochemical application process, where the probe assures prevention or inhibition of formation of a bacterial biofilm at the surface of the probe. The vaccinium macrocarpon extract contains approximately between 16 and 30 percent in mass of anthocyanin precursors. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a urinary probe.
