APPARATUS FOR MEASURING MOISTURE FOR SILAGE

PURPOSE: A humidity measuring device for silage is provided to measure a large amount of a sample by reducing a moisture content measuring time. CONSTITUTION: A humidity measuring device for silage comprises a pair of guide bars(11), an compression rod(21), an elevating plate(3), a sample feeding hopper(4), a water collection part, a hydraulic jockey(6), an oil pressure switch(7), a weight measuring device(8) and a timer(9). The compression rod is installed in the central lower part of a cover plate(2) fixed to the upper end of the guide bar. The elevating plate is elastically supported with an elastic member(111) inserted into the guide bar. The sample feeding hopper is installed to be corresponded to the compression rod and extracts the moisture from the silage sample according to the compression of the compression rod. The timer measures the time when the moisture can come out.
