PURPOSE: A xylose-inducible expression vector containing xylose-inducible promoters is provided to be applied to effective use of biomass resource. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant vector contains a gene encoding a target protein and an E.coli-derived xylF promoter gene of sequence number 2, which is operatively linked to the gene. A recombinant microorganism is transformed with the recombinant vector. A method for producing a target protein comprises: a step of culturing the recombinant microorganism in a medium containing xylose to express a target gene; and a step of isolating protein expressed by the gene.
