<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that properly improves workability in canceling an abnormal state in a game machine. <P>SOLUTION: A game board 80 of a Pachinko machine includes a right-side variable ball entry device 83 for receiving a game ball falling down a game area PE. The right-side variable ball entry device 83 has a guide path, and the game ball having entered the right-side variable ball entry device 83 is discharged through the guide path. The guide path is provided with an upstream-side detecting sensor and a downstream-side detecting sensor that are connected to a main control device. The main control device monitors whether balls remaining in the right-side variable winning ball entry device 83 are abnormal or not, on the basis of the detection information from the detecting sensors. When the remaining ball abnormal condition is detected, abnormal mode is entered and the state is canceled when a ball enters the right-side variable ball entry device 83. Further, the main control device is provided with a function for monitoring entry of the ball in the right-side variable ball entry device 83 not in the validity period.
