The invention relates to a drive device (1) comprising - a rotational drive device with a rotating stator (2) and a rotating armature (3) for displacing a shaft (18) in a rotational movement (12) and - a linear drive device with a linear stator (4) and a linear armature (5) for displacing a shaft (18) in a linear movement (15), wherein - the rotational drive device and the linear drive device are arranged axially one behind the other, - the rotating armature (3) and the linear armature (5) are connected to a respective shaft section (6, 7), - the shaft sections (6, 7) of the rotating armature (3) and the linear armature (5) are axially aligned, - the axially aligned shaft sections (6, 7) of the rotating armature (3) and linear armature (5) are connected to each other in a rotationally fixed manner by suitable means such that the shaft sections (6, 7) can move axially with respect to each other but they can only rotate together.
