The disclosed autofocus adjustment method for a three-dimensional imaging device involves: a step of making a second focus lens of a second imaging optical system perform a search operation within a first search range if a first lens position (in-focus position) cannot be found when a first focus lens of a first imaging optical system is made to perform a search operation within said first search range, and finding a second lens position at which the second focus lens comes into focus with the photographic subject on the basis of a second viewpoint image that is acquired from the second imaging section at the time of the search operation; a step of moving the second focus lens to the second lens position found within the first search range; a step of calculating the first lens position on the basis of the second lens position found within the first search range and the amount of difference between focus positions, which is stored in advance in a storage section; and a step of moving the first focus lens to the calculated first lens position.
