<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device, a method for manufacturing a light emitting device, a light emitting device package, and an illumination system, in which light extraction efficiency is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device according to the present invention includes an electrode layer, a current density adjusting pattern on the electrode layer, and a light emitting structure on the electrode layer and the current density adjusting pattern.
