The present invention provides topical compositions, methods of preparation, and methods of treatment involving the incorporation of a eutectic melt into a formulation. The improved formulation can enhance permeability and bioavailability. In certain specific embodiments, the invention provides an anti-fungal pharmaceutical composition for topical application comprising an anti-fungal agent, at least one eutectic agent, and a pharmaceutically acceptable low-boiling solvent. |
