PURPOSE: An aluminum-based bearing alloy and a production method thereof are provided to easily deform a connecting rod by reducing the thickness and strength of the connecting rod. CONSTITUTION: An aluminum-based bearing alloy(3) comprises Si particles(5) 1-15 weight%. The total length of the circumference of the Si particles observed in an observation field is 4000-6000 micrometers. When the observation field is divided into multiple areas, the average aspect ratio of the divided areas is 1:2. |
