<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device having improved light extraction efficiency from a phosphor and improved brightness, and further to provide a manufacturing method of the light-emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 40 according to the present invention comprises: a light emitting diode (LED) chip 11 serving as a light source; and a fluorescent part 20 including a phosphor 22 that emits light when excited by light from the LED chip 11.
