PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively inexpensive composite sheet material having excellent processability, extensibility, air permeability, flexibility, and pleasant texture, which is most suitable as material for underwears or sanitary products such as dust masks and disposable paper diapers.
SOLUTION: A layered composite comprises a composite spunbonded nonwoven fabric and an extensible layer. The composite spunbonded nonwoven fabric comprises a composite fiber including a low melting point component and a high melting point component. The composite fibers are partially thermo-compressed onto each other so as to allow the thermo-compressed portions to have a fine folded structure including repeating convex portions and concave portions along CD (width direction during manufacturing of the nonwoven fabric) with an average pitch distance between the adjacent convex portions of 100 to 400 μm. When the fine folded structure is extended, extensibility is exhibited. The composite spunbonded nonwoven fabric has a CD strength of 0.1 N/5 cm width or less when extended by 5%, and a MD/CD strength ratio (ratio of strength in the longitudinal and cross directions during manufacturing of the nonwoven fabric) is 200 or more when extended by 5%.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
