<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferentially execute user setting if power consumption can be suppressed more under the user setting than power saving mode setting. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile phone 10 includes a key input device 26, a display 30, a RAM 38 and the like. The mobile phone 10 capable of setting a power saving mode is shifted to a power saving state after the lapse of a specific time with high-luminance display of a display 30 without being performed a key input operation. The RAM 38 stores therein two tables from which a user setting value and a power saving setting value are read out. The time arbitrarily set by a user is stored in the user setting table of the RAM 38 as a user setting value. When the power saving mode is set to the mobile phone 10 and the display 30 is switched to high-luminance display, if the user setting value is smaller than the power saving setting value, a processor 24 sets the user setting value as a specific time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
