PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relate to a technique of adjusting the level of an acoustic signal so as not to give a user a feeling of strangeness to the sound.
SOLUTION: A level of a plurality of signals that is averaged by a different calculation period and a threshold are compared with each other. When the level of the signal is higher than the threshold, the gain is reduced, and the signal level is corrected based on the reduced gain. In addition, when an acoustic source is switched, the threshold is initialized to define the level of the signal of the acoustic source selected by the switching as an initial value of the threshold. Based on the level of the signal of the selected acoustic source, the signal level is corrected by the calculated gain. Thereby, strange feeling of a user to the sound, which is caused by frequently gain change, can be prevented, and abnormal noise, which is caused by saturation of the acoustic signal when the level variation of the acoustic signal is large, can also be prevented.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
