<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray type card connector capable of easily taking out a card from a tray. <P>SOLUTION: A connector 10 includes a tray 3, a housing 4, a cover plate 5 and a plurality of contacts 61 and 62 which have a cantilever shape. The tray 3 has a first recessed part 31 onto which a card 1 is placed. The housing 4 is arranged on the edge of a print substrate 1p, having a second recessed part 42 in which the tray 3 can move forward and backward. The cover plate 5 covers the second recessed part 42. The plurality of the contacts 61 and 62 electrically connect a connection terminal 1a of the card 1 and the print substrate 1p. When the tray 3 is taken out to the end, a tilting force of the card 1 is given to a front end edge 13b of the card 1, with the front end edge 13b side of the card 1 as a fulcrum, so that a rear end edge 13a of the card 1 is separated from a bottom surface of the first recessed part 31, enabling the card 1 to tilt thus facilitating an easy takeout of the card 1 from the tray 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
