<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of an end coil with a sleeve, which can efficiently carry out a separation treatment of the end coil with the sleeve remaining in a delivery device after delivering a metal band from a coil of the metal band wound around the sleeve. <P>SOLUTION: An end coil 3 with the sleeve is extracted from a delivery device (payoff reel) 11 by a coil car 12. The extracted end coil 3 with the sleeve is transferred to a cradle roll type uncoiler 16 by a crane 13. A metal band 2a constituting the end coil 2 is delivered by the cradle roll type uncoiler 16 from the transferred end coil 3 with the sleeve. The delivered metal band 2a is sheared with a shear 18, while collecting the end plate 2b of the metal band after shearing in a scrap bag 19. A sleeve 10 remaining in the cradle roll type uncoiler 16 is transferred to a sleeve storage site 20 with the crane 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
