<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the causation of erroneous report due to a patient's erroneous operation of a calling operation section installed in a toilet. <P>SOLUTION: Even when a patient recognizes a calling operation section 3 and tries to operate it, or even when a patient mistakes the calling operation section 3 for an operating device to clean a toilet bowl and tries to operate it, a sensor section 4 detects the approach of a hand and the toilet bowl is cleaned. Consequently, when the patient tries to operate the calling operation section 3, even if the toilet bowl is cleaned, the patient may extend his hand to the calling operation section 3 and operate it. When the patient tries to clean the toilet bowl, since the toilet bowl is already cleaned, he is no longer required to extend his hand to the calling operation section 3, and actually the calling operation section 3 will not be operated any longer.
