<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knock type mechanical pencil which is constituted to allow even a cylindrical cap to be removed therefrom with ease. <P>SOLUTION: The knock type mechanical pencil 1 in which a cylindrical cap 7 projects from the rear end opening 5b of a barrel 2, and an eraser 8 is provided inside the cap 7, and which is constituted to deliver a lead from the tip 6a of the pencil disposed at the front part of the barrel 2 through operation of a lead delivery mechanism 6 provided in the barrel 2, by knocking the cap 7. In the mechanical pencil, two valley parts 5d recessed on the front side of the barrel 2 are formed on the rear end surface 5c as the circumferential edge of the rear end opening 5b of the barrel 2, at two sections in the axial direction of the barrel 2, causing the side surface 7a of the cap 7 to be exposed from the valley parts 5d of the barrel 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
