<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat in which when a child is seated thereon, a part of his/her body is prevented from falling in the toilet bowl, and even a small child can sit thereon with no difficulty. <P>SOLUTION: The toilet seat includes a seat portion 1 having a ring-shaped or U-shaped opening 6 in the center, and in which at least a part thereof in the circumferential direction serves as an expansion/contraction portion 2 capable of expanding and contracting.
