A medical device comprises a first imaging section that is fixed to a body wall and captures images of the body cavity; a recording section that records in advance a predetermined image area in a first image or coordinates which specify the predetermined image area in case a predetermined change occurs in the first image captured by the first imaging section; and a display section that superimposes the image area or coordinates recorded at the recording section on the first image captured by the first imaging section when a predetermined change occurs in the first image.
