Disclosed is a method for bonding microparticles, each carrying a nucleic acid synthase, a DNA probe or the like having been immobilized thereon for capturing a nucleic acid sample fragment, to an adhesive metal (such as gold) pad pattern that is formed on a substrate, which comprises forming, on the substrate surface, a microparticle adsorption-preventing film having a similar thickness to the adhesive pads, and changing the microparticle size with respect to each adhesive pad to thereby fix the microparticles, each carrying one molecule of a nucleic acid sample fragment attached thereto, one by one in a grid form. According to this method, many kinds of nucleic acid fragment samples can be regularly aligned on the substrate at a high density and fixed thereto, which enables a high-throughput analysis of the nucleic acid samples. By fixing microparticles at intervals of 1 µm, for example, a high density of 106 nucleic acid fragments/mm2 can be easily achieved. |
