Disclosed is a safety device for high-voltage components, which is provided with a cover for covering at least a portion of the high-voltage components, a low-voltage circuit for controlling the conducting/blocking state of an electrical circuit for supplying power to the high-voltage components, and a selection means which allows the conducting/blocking state of the low-voltage circuit to be selected during the operation for attaching/removing the aforementioned cover, wherein: the selection means is configured such that a segment of the main wiring of the low-voltage circuit is disposed in a detachable manner by a connector formed from a fixed-side connector member and a moveable-side connector member; a plate-like member having an insertion opening, into which one connector member of the aforementioned connector can be inserted and the other connector member cannot be inserted, is disposed on the cover; the one connector member is disposed in a fixed manner; the aforementioned connector, which operates as a cover opening/closing regulating means, is configured by connecting the insertion opening of the other connector member to a portion of the inserted one connector member via the insertion opening; and the aforementioned cover can be removed after the other connector member is removed from the one connector member.
