<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric based electrode based on fabric in whose producing step the achievement of the faster speed of knitting and the longer life of knitting machine components can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: A fabric based electrode is constituted which has a fabric part having non-conductive twisted yarn and a conductive region with filament for conductive twisted yarn and includes gradual change patterns 82, 84. The electrode is further provided with floating twisted yarn and can be integrated in a fabrics structure or in an undulating fabric structure.
