摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a titanium plate material for press molding, which concurrently improves the moldability and in-plane anisotropy of an &alpha;-titanium plate, without coarsening a crystal grain or controlling impurity composition; and to provide a product thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a pure titanium plate material or a hexagonal titanium alloy plate material for press molding, differential speed rolling is performed using upper and lower rolls different in roll peripheral speed, and annealing is performed after that. The method for manufacturing the pure titanium plate material or the hexagonal titanium alloy plate material for the press molding is characterized in that a ratio between the roll peripheral speeds of the upper and lower rolls is 1.3 or more. The effect of texture control enables the pure titanium plate material or the hexagonal titanium alloy plate material to be utilized as a plate type heat exchanger which exhibits excellent room-temperature moldability and in-plane anisotropy and which requires high room-temperature overhang moldability, as high strength is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
