<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an amount of light distributed to between collimator lenses or to regions corresponding to side faces of the collimator lenses, and reduce luminance unevenness and dark lines of a plane light source device. <P>SOLUTION: A collimated light source 42 consists of a light source and a collimator lens array 43. The collimator lens array 43 has a plurality collimator lenses 23 connected in a width direction. The collimator lens 23 has a lens incident surface 24 for arranging the light source in opposition. A diffusion region 25 in which a diffusion pattern of a V-groove shape is arranged is formed at a central part of the lens incident surface 24. The side face portions extending from both ends of the lens incident surface 24 to the front are made of a reflecting wall 26, a step surface 27, and a sidewall face 28. The reflecting walls 26 are inclined from a direction perpendicular to the lens incident surface 24, and the distance between the reflecting walls 26 on right and left widens as they go toward the front. The front surface of the collimator lenses 23 is constructed of an emission-side lens 29 with a circular arc-shape in plane view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
