<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for reducing the light quantity distribution difference on a surface of the subject during light irradiation by a photoacoustic measuring apparatus using a laser beam. <P>SOLUTION: The photoacoustic measuring apparatus includes: a light source for irradiating a laser beam; forming means for forming a second light flux by dividing or deforming the laser beam; an optical member for guiding the second light flux to the irradiation area of a surface of a subject; and a probe for obtaining a photoacoustic wave generated from the subject by irradiating the second light flux. The optical member, which is in the photoacoustic measuring apparatus, is irradiated to overlap areas of the second light flux having small light intensity on the surface of the subject. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
