<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide effective heat radiation means capable of suppressing heat generated in a secondary battery such as a lithium-ion battery from propagating to adjacent electric cells. <P>SOLUTION: A separator 1 comprises: a center part 2; a surface part 3 whose porosity is larger than that of the center part 2. The separator is easily formed by laminating porous materials that vary in porosity, and such a structure enables a heat resistance in a separator direction to be smaller than that in a thickness direction (lamination direction) suppressing heat from propagating to adjacent batteries and components, thus suppressing temperature rise of the battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
