<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cover and heat-retentively protect the end of a fluid pipe which is exposed by the axial contraction or the like of a coated pipe in a connecting point of the fluid pipe to a joint accommodated in a heat insulating material. <P>SOLUTION: This external member 1 covers, from the heat insulating material 31 toward the coated pipe 22, the fluid pipe 21 which is exposed by an axial clearance S between the tip of the coated pipe 22 which is formed of a resin foam and inserted with the fluid pipe 21 and the heat insulating material 31 in which a T-joint 23 connected with the fluid pipe 21 is accommodated, and protects the fluid pipe. The external material 1 is formed into a cylindrical shape, has a connecting adhesive tape 6 joined to the heat insulating material 31 so as to be immovable in the axial direction, and accommodates the coated pipe 22 together with the fluid pipe 21 therein while the axial movement of the tip of the coated pipe 22 is permitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
