<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply set an area which is desired by a user to set masking. <P>SOLUTION: An image obtained from a camera is displayed on a display 110 and the detection result of an object in the image is displayed on the display 110. Then, a mask area is set to the image displayed on the display 110.
