<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side ditch cover having high strength that can be easily manufactured, allowing a channel to be secured. <P>SOLUTION: A side ditch cover 11 made of concrete placed on a supporting step 6 of a side ditch made of concrete including a drain channel and an opening 3 on the upper side of the drain channel is provided. The opening 3 has a width narrower than that of the drain channel and includes a first opening 4 that communicates with the drain channel and a second opening 5 that communicates with the opening 4 at the upper side thereof having a width wider than that of the opening 4, with the supporting step 6 formed at the border between the second opening 5 and the first opening 4. The side ditch cover 11 includes a lower part 12 of the cover that can fit into the first opening 4 and an upper part 13 of the cover integrally formed on the upper side of the lower part 12 of the cover having a width wider than that of the lower part 12 of the cover. At least one of the left and right sides of the lower part 12 of the cover and the upper part 13 of the cover in the longitudinal direction has a water introducing void space 14 partially cut out in the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
