<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrought copper alloy, excellent in machinability and extensibility and suitable for the use requiring at least one of high strength and high electrical conductivity while reducing the environmental load. <P>SOLUTION: The wrought copper alloy includes by mass% of 1.5-7.0% Ni, 0.3-2.3% Si, 0.02-1.0% S, further if necessary, 0.05-2.0% the total content of at least one kind selected from group composed of Sn, Mn, Co, Zr, Ti, Fe, Cr, Al, P and Zn and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities. The wrought copper alloy whose remainder contains Cu and unavoidable impurities and in which sulfide contributed to the improvement of the machinability is dispersed. The average diameter of the sulfide is 0.1-10 μm and the area ratio of the sulfide is 0.1-10% and further, the tensile strength is ≥500 MPa and the electrical conductivity is ≥25% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
