<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device capable of surely controlling a vehicle body side by the operation of an operation switch provided in an upper part of a shift lever and capable of preventing structural parts from being worn and damaged. <P>SOLUTION: The shift lever device includes: a knob 2 installed in an upper part of the shift lever 3 and having the operation switch 5; a magnetic body 60 built in the knob 2 and capable of moving in the axial direction of the shift lever 3 according to the operation of an operating section 5a; and a magnetic detector 7 provided at an upper end of a lever body 30 of the shift lever 3 and connected to a vehicle body side terminal 80 to detect the approach and the separation of the magnetic body 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
