<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removable member attachment structure and an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing contact of an foreign object with a gear of a main body which is released from engagement with a gear of a removable member when the removable member is disengaged from the main body. <P>SOLUTION: If a toner cartridge 52 is disengaged from an apparatus body 50A, an image development part shutter 150 is pushed by a coil spring 152, is displaced in a disengagement direction G, and is stopped in contact with a stopper 154. Then, a cover part 200 formed in the image development part shutter 150 covers at least one portion of a gear 186, so that contact of a foreign object (toner, dust, finger, etc.) with the gear 186 is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
