<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system that is capable of printing executed by a plurality of users with assured confidentiality of print data. <P>SOLUTION: A printing system 1 is connected through a network 40 to a client terminal 10 for creating print jobs, a server 20 for storing print jobs, and a printer 30 for pull printing print jobs. A print job includes print data, and authority information that includes user information for specifying a user who has print authority to the print data. The client terminal 10 includes authority setting means 13 for setting up the authority information. The server 20 includes authority information management means 23, user identification means 24, authentication processing means 25 for authenticating whether a printing is permitted on the basis of the authority information and the identification result of the user identification means 24, and transmission control means 21.
