<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power semiconductor module and a power conversion equipment using it, because previously since a semiconductor module was needed for every power inverter circuit the variety increased, and also it was necessary to configure a circuit by assembling existing semiconductor modules for an uncommon circuit system because it would increase the cost to customize a module suitable for a circuit system in terms of the cost and yield. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor module includes 2 IGBTs in which a diode is connected in reverse parallel and 2 bidirectional switches in one module, or includes 4 bidirectional switches in one module and has 5 external terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
