<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a plurality of contents whose display sizes are different in the form of a list with an irregular layout. <P>SOLUTION: The number of images is counted, and the number is defined as a end condition. An area division part for dividing a display area into two areas is configured by: a direction determination part, an aspect rate estimation part, a determination part, a position determination part, and a division execution part. The direction determination part determines the direction of a division line for dividing the display area into two areas. The aspect rate estimation part temporarily determines the position of the division line whose direction has been determined, and estimates the aspect rate of each of the divided display areas. The determination part determines whether or not the estimated aspect rates are within a prescribed range. The temporary determination of the position of the division line is repeated until the aspect rates are within the prescribed range. The position determination part determines the temporarily determined position as the position of the division line when it is determined that the aspect rates are within the prescribed range. The division execution part divides the display area at the division line of the determined direction and position.
