<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial separation method for platinum group elements by which can two or more kinds of platinum group elements can be easily extracted from a platinum group-containing material containing the platinum group elements, and further the respective components can be continuously separated each other to be collected. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for separating and collecting platinum group elements, a solution containing a β-diketonato complex of two or more kinds of metals including platinum group elements is subjected to normal phase chromatography separation using a column 11a-h filled with a filler. The solution containing the β-diketonato complex of two or more kinds of metals including platinum group elements is composed of an acetylacetonate complex-containing solution containing two or more kinds selected from Pt (platinum), Pd (palladium) and Rh (rhodium). The normal phase chromatography eluent contains alcohol and/or acetylacetone having 0.01 to 50 vol% of the carbon numbers of 3 or less in total. Also, the filler is composed of (a) a silica gel surface-modified by one kind selected from the group consisting of a diol group, a cyano group and a cellulose ester derivative group or (b) a methacrylic acid ester resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
