<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of extracting an object from a DM client with which a large object can be acquired from the DM client by a DM server, and a device management system associated therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: a DM client receiving from a DM server a first message used for extracting an object; dividing the object into a plurality of chunks and responding to the received first message; and transmitting each of the chunks to the DM server while utilizing a second message. The second message including the final one chunk includes a first element indicating the absence of the chunk to be transmitted, and the second message including any other one chunk includes a second element indicating the presence of at least one chunk to be transmitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
