<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copier capable of suitably switching displays if an error occurs in a preceding job during a setting operation of a succeeding job. <P>SOLUTION: A copier 100 is capable of starting to read a succeeding job in the process of printing a preceding job. The setting operation of the succeeding job is performed by manipulating a setting screen displayed on a displaying part 41 of the copier 100. If an error is detected while a setting operation in connection with copy processing of the succeeding job is performed with the use of the setting screen and a preceding job is being printed, the copier 100 starts the counting of time. The setting screen is switched to an informing screen which informs of the contents of an error when the counted time exceeds the threshold time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
