<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring seal that is prevented in slippage and/or inclination when fastened. <P>SOLUTION: This ring seal (10) has a rotating shaft (R) and a central lateral shaft (T), and also has a substantially D-figured shape which is defined by a wall (11) for forming the back of a D-figure, a wall (12) for forming a swollen body of the D-figure, and two sidewalls (13). The seal has a height (H) and a thickness (E), and a ratio (E/H) of the height (H) and the thickness (E) is 0.7 to 0.85, and preferably 0.8. The wall (11) at the back side includes a recessed face which defines a recess (11a) between two heads (14) while not being compressed. The recess has a height (h) between 50% to 60% of the height (H) of the seal, and has a depth (p) between 4% to 8% of the thickness (E) of the seal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
