The invention relates to a method for erecting an electrical overhead line in a section composed of a number of overhead line masts (6). Various vehicles and machines (22, 26) are used during several line obstructions: a) to position foundations and bed them in, b) to grip overhead line masts (6) and connect them to the foundations, c) to connect a feeder and a return wire to the overhead line masts (6), to then mount an overhead wire (24) and a messenger wire (25) which are connected to a pulley-type tensioning assembly at the end of the section.
