The system (2) has an illumination device (4) i.e. LCD, arranged in a lighting region (5), where the illumination device radiates light with color and intensity in the lighting region and communicates vehicle-specific information e.g. tire pressure, and/or environment-specific information e.g. environmental temperature. The lighting region is partly extended in an edge area (6) along a vehicle window (7) and arranged in sections around the vehicle window. A sensing unit i.e. temperature sensor, detects the environment and/or vehicle-specific information.
