METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PREHEATING GLASS BATCH USING FLUE GAS WASTE HEAT PRODUCED BY OXY-FUEL COMBUSTION GLASS MELTING FURNACE

<p>A method and a device for preheating the glass batch using flue gas waste heat produced by oxy-fuel combustion glass melting furnace. The method comprises granulating the glass batch, preheating the glass batch by means of multiple vertical turnover plates after dehydrating and drying. The glass batch contacts the hot flue gas indirectly and the heat of the flue gas is radiated to the glass batch by way of convection. The glass batch is sent to next procedure after preheating to 400? or higher. The device is provided with multiple turnover plates and multiple flue gas channels. The flue gas inlet is positioned in the lateral wall of the lower part of the preheater, and the flue gas outlet is positioned in another lateral wall of the upper part of the preheater. The device has the following advantages: the utilization ratio of the high-temperature flue gas waste heat is high and there is no dust pollution; the flue gas rises through the flue gas channels by its own draught and there is no power consumption; the vertical structure occupies less land; it is easy to popularize and implement.</p>
