<p>The method for treating mash during a brewing process, comprises continuously or discontinuously supplying a process gas to the mash, forming and subsequently moving a resulting bubble through the suspension by the pressure- and density-difference between the mash and gas to cause a floatation of fine particle on the surface of the gas bubbles, and removing the flavoring substances from the wort by evaporation, where the gas bubbles promote the homogeneity of the mash. The gas stream is fed before water, spice or comparable fluid.
