The present invention relates to a method for defining resources for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) in a wireless mobile communication system supporting carrier aggregation. The method comprises: a step of transmitting a plurality of downlink component carriers containing control information for a plurality of user equipment; and a step of receiving at least one uplink component carrier which is linked to the plurality of downlink component carriers. The method involves transmitting, via said at least one uplink component carrier, a PUCCH for the control information for the plurality of user equipment which is contained in the plurality of downlink component carriers. The method defines resources for the PUCCH in said at least one uplink component carrier such that the resource for the PUCCH, which corresponds to the downlink component carrier from among the plurality of downlink component carriers which is compatible with an existing system, is defined by priority.
